Pieces of clothing\nwith varied patterns were spotted all over 3R office. Some of the volunteers\nwere appeared as busy, a few of them were occupied with the fabric- cutting,\nothers were with ironing and stitching. Often, they were cracking jokes that\ndraw laughter across the room. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The production of\nthese face masks has been a part of the 3R program in response to the COVID-19\npandemic. Aside from that, we also have another program that includes the\npublication of educational videos and the current reports taking the form of\ninfographics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are very aware that\na face mask has become one of the necessary protective items to prevent the\nspread of COVID-19 or Corona Virus. The success in Corona prevention through\nthe promotion of the face mask use using Whatsapp had also become the best\npractice of the Czech Republic. The practice then generated the social media\nmovement #maskforall that also inspired other countries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI am really\npassionate about this program, especially when we are working on it as a team.\nDespite having to run into difficulty at first, as we didn\u2019t have the knowledge\nto create the mask, but with the technology getting more embedded to our life,\nfor example with the presence of Youtube that helped us in creating the\npattern, provided us with references, we were able to run the project smoothly\nin the end.,\u201d stated Yuni \u2013 one of the 3R volunteers \u2013 during the break.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The face mask\nproduction is estimated to be done by the end of the week, and right after, our\nteam will distribute the masks for the people in need for free. But before sending\nthe masks, we will cleanse them with hot water, put them into laundry then\npackage them properly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are hoping that\nthese masks will be useful as the prevention measure against COVID-19.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
