Saturday (22/12) The disaster again struck Indonesia. Tsunami struck the Sunda Strait allegedly due to the avalanche of Mount Anak Krakatau. The tsunami wave was recorded by BMKG as high as 0.9 meters.
The disaster at the end of the year 2019, based on data intercepted from Detiknews, resulted in 281 casualties, 1,016 people injured, 57 missing persons and 11,687 displaced persons. This victim came from 5 affected districts in Sunda Strait namely Pandeglang, Serang, Lampung Selatan, Tanggamus and Pesis.
Various elements of society continued to shoulder shoulders to provide an emergency response to the tsunami. At present, the priority is to evacuate, the evacuation and rescue of victims, health servants, refugee management.
